Saranac Lake ArtWorks

Third Thursday Art Walks
On the third Thursday of the month between June and September, you can hit the town in Saranac Lake and get a taste of the Adirondack Arts Scene. Between 5 and 7pm, local musicians jam on street corners and in cafes and bars, artists open the doors to their studios for tours and viewings, and galleries display lovely works from a number of artists. It’s a great way to finish off a day of Adirondack tourism!
In a great industrial building repurposed from its former life alongside the rail line, Bluseed Studios is a bustling hub for the local arts scene. A large open venue for shows, musical performances and gatherings can be found above four professional art studios. With community outreach programs that provide art opportunities to beginners, an artist in residence, and studio space available to rent for professional and upstart artists, Bluseed is a great place to visit during your time in the mountains.
Main Street and Broadway in Saranac Lake are a great place to view and purchase art from spectacular local artists. Located in the heart of our downtown, The Adirondack Artists Guild and NorthWinds Fine Arts are a great starting point. There are also many local artists who offer studio tours and open houses throughout the summer tourist season.
